Come a little closer. I’ll tell you something that almost nobody believes. Arion, a famous musician in Greece, was sailing the seas with a crew who envied him. They had heard of his wealth and wanted to rob him. Out in the middle of the ocean, they tied him up and threatened to throw him overboard.

One last time, he got hold of his lyre. He played as loudly as he could; his final song echoed across the water. Then he was thrown overboard, and that’s when it happened. A dolphin emerged from the waves, took him onto her back and swam him safely to the shore.

Ever since, sailors have known: the dolphin is no ordinary creature. It appears at just the right moment, rescues those in danger of drowning, and shows that there is always a way forward.

And perhaps this is not only evident from the sea itself. The old story says that the dolphin also reappears in the stars. If you look closely, you will see the sign high in the sky – as a guide, just as it is in the water.
