Dark Sky expeditions full moon and new moon

Mustering is in Klintholm Harbor on the quay, where Klap Hesten is located. This of course requires clear and calm weather. We sail out into Bay of Hjelm where the course is set 90 degrees due east. The goal is Møns Klint, which is absolutely enchanting at night. Skipper Ole always enjoys the night and the many long journeys on the 7 seas of the world have just made the night and darkness his friend, creating dreams of new horizons and the existential in life.

Experiencing the starry sky at sea is a very special experience. There are no trees or houses there in the way of the full look-up to the gods who rule the night. For the first time ever, you can now go for a sail into the night and hear about the universe, the stars and about Greek gods, and it’s not boring…

Did you know that Zeus is the supreme god who sits on his throne high up on Olympus? He is married to the goddess Hera, with whom he has several children. Zeus had a great interest in the lives of men and often intervened in their fate. Especially beautiful women he could not help but visit, and these adventures have ensured us robber stories of rank, which are of great importance to all of us, e.g. he caught sight of the young beautiful Alcmene from Mycenae. He transformed himself into a large, beautiful swan, flew down to her and cultivated the sweetness of love. Nine months later Alcmene gave birth to the son Hercules, who was half man and half god. Hermes, the messenger of the gods, flew every night when Hera slept him up to her breast and Hercules grew stronger and stronger from the milk of the goddess, but one night things went completely wrong. Hera woke up and was maddened by Zeus’ infidelity, but mostly by the fact that he let a half-human child get milk from her breast. Hera tore the child away from her breast, and into the firmament a fat jet of goddess milk spewed, creating the milky way Galaxy.
